Scott Parsons
Singer-Songwriter

Scott has worked on sound tracks for animated filmmaker Jo Dee Samuelson on her award-winning film The Sand Box, filmmaker Fox Henderson's short, GRIM, and has two music videos of his own songs, "What I am" and "Just When I Needed You Most." Scott has also been a band member in a Sam Elliot Feature Film - "You Know My Name" and has been featured on numerous CBC Radio shows such as Swinging On A Star and Basic Black. Scott has also been featured and had his own specials on CBC, Vision TV's SteepleChasing and has recently done a show for Cinemage in Moncton, an artist exchange where visual artist and musician create work inspired by each other's mediums. Scott's unique guitar playing ranges from flawless finger picking to a percussive syncopated reggae style that Scott has labelled Rastacadian, his own style of East Coast influenced World Music. Scott's guitar playing coupled with his strong captivaing voice have earned him a place in many hearts around the world. Scott has performed in Canada, England, Wales, Scotland, Holland, Mexico and the United States.

He has done two independent tours of Switzerland and his 1st CD, Jupiter Wise, aired on the Swiss State Radio station DRS3. He recorded a live album at Mahogany Hall in Bern, Switzerland while on tour during1997. Scott has more recently toured the New York City school system with traditional artist Teresa Doyle performing for children in April 2002.
